I just can’t leave this behind me and choose one of the two most powerful operating systems for netbooks, especially Asus eee 901 (which ive got). For some reason i end up installing Moblin Linux and use it for some time, then get troubled with something and install Ubuntu Netbook Edition.
Once in a while there are new releases too and this doesn’t help at all. With each new release there comes new features. With each new feature there comes excitement. What do I do? I end up juggling between the two, never seems to settle my mind on one.
Why should I? I mean, there are many reasons for changing the system on my neetbook every now and then. I do store my data with google docs and google mail. My calendar is also google hosted. Ubuntu do have ubuntu one, which allows me to syncronize local dokcuments and files up in the clouds. My pictures are either on picasaweb or on an external harddrive.
The time it takes to reinstall is minimum and I get double excitement by using two systems in stead of one. I should mention that I work as a software tester which might be related. I dont mind changing environment or change the way i do things. My work computer is more or less stable, except the themes, wallpaper and colors that change regulary. Maybe im addicted to changes? Is there such a thing?
Anyway, thats my thoughts on moblin and ubuntu, sorry that i didn’t have an in-depth review of each of the fantastic linux distros.
